Dark called and texted me before coming to my home. He worked diligently to attempt to repair my countertop ice maker. He called me later that day to see if the machine was working (it wasn't). He agreed to send me back the service call fee, even though he had spent about 2 hours working on the machine. I would ABSOLUTELY use Ivan ApplianceRepairs in the future.

I really appreciate IVAN appliances coming out especially after 2 other pros canceled on me and the store I bought the Stove from sent inexperienced delivery people who could not tell me what I needed to install the stove. Great job and very punctual!

Elmhurst appliance repair FAQs

Do you offer same day appliance repair in Elmhurst, IL?
We do our best to provide quick scheduling in Elmhurst, especially for urgent problems like a refrigerator not cooling or a major water leak. Availability depends on the day and your location, but we will offer the soonest appointment window and confirm the time before dispatch.
What brands do you repair?
We repair most major appliance brands, including Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Bosch, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Maytag, Kenmore, and more. If you are unsure about your model, share the brand and model number and we will confirm service options.
My refrigerator is leaking water, what should I do first?
If you see water pooling, protect the floor with towels and check whether the leak is coming from the door, the ice maker line, or the bottom drain area. If the fridge is still cooling, avoid unplugging it right away, but do schedule service soon because a clogged drain or a cracked line can lead to damage and mold.
Why is my washer not draining or spinning?
Common causes include a clogged drain pump filter, a blocked hose, a failing drain pump, or a lid lock issue. If the tub is full of water, stop the cycle and avoid forcing another spin cycle. A technician can test the pump and control signals and restore proper draining safely.
Is it worth repairing an appliance or should I replace it?
It depends on the age, the condition, and the cost of the repair. As a general rule, if the appliance is in good shape and the repair is significantly less than replacement, repair is usually the better choice. We will explain the issue and give an honest recommendation based on your situation.
How much does appliance repair cost in Elmhurst?
Cost depends on the problem, the parts needed, and the appliance type. After diagnosis, we explain what failed and provide a clear estimate before moving forward. That way you can decide with confidence and avoid surprises.
